Surfing in the Hebrides
These photographs were taken at the 2001 Hebridean Surf Festival. This area is relatively unexplored by surfers but has some excellent surf beaches all year round. On one of the competition days only the international professional surfers went in the water because of the size of the surf, and even they were amazed at the wave height!
